New York might be an underdog here. But, I don't believe that the Islanders are going to play like one on Thursday evening. They are a much better side than people are aware of. They just knocked off the Canucks & now head on the road for a pair of road games up in Canada. I believe that this is a great matchup to pull off an upset in.

Ottawa has been elite to begin the season, there's no question about it. However, I don't expect the Sens to keep it up. They aren't as deep as last season and don't have the same fire power in my eyes. That being said, give me the Islanders in this one.

Burns' Prediction: 3-2 Islanders.

That being said, the Hammers must wake up a bit if they want to come back to the Premier League for next season. Currently in 5th, they are in jeopardy of playing in a playoff round instead of automatic promotion spot. The good thing is that the season is still very young. Looking at the opponent today, Lincoln City has four losses in nine games this season (three wins.) Even though this is a home game, I believe that it doesn't have the talent to keep this one close. West Ham will finish its chances and ultimately win big. Burns' Prediction: 3-0 WHU.

(#910) Los Angeles Dodgers \| ML \| . Robert Gasser (5-5, 3.87 ERA) vs. Blake Snell (4-1, 1.90 ERA) . Milwaukee has taken the first two games of this series. While it's been a great start for the Brewers, their top two arms have pitched already and will now have to expand the rotation a bit. The Brewers have capitalized on the poor hitting of LA here and this has become a practical must-win for the Dodgers. Talking about them, the disappointment has been the struggles of Shohei Ohtani. He's clearly not the same right now and needs some rest. However, he's not going to want to sit out and watch his team at this moment and time. LAD needs him to fight and I think that they get a decent performance out of him back at home here. LAD will turn to Blake Snell, who's capable of being a #1 starter for basically any team in the MLB still. He's a former 2-time Cy Young winner and has been dominant in the playoffs. This price is expensive, especially for a big play. But, I don't mind laying the price. Give me LAD in a response game to make this series interesting again. Burns' Prediction: 5-2 Dodgers.
