Don't get me wrong, these two teams are more than capable of putting up a lot of points. However, the NBA Finals most definitely delivers the best out of both teams on the defensive side of the ball, as just one series win can crown these players as NBA Champions. In what should be another close game, expect it to be low scoring and intense in Game 4. Burns' Prediction: 107-102 Spurs.

(#920) Detroit Tigers \| ML \| . Mike Paredes (0-0, 4.91 ERA) vs. Framber Valdez (3-4, 4.21 ERA) . I don't really like either of these two teams this season. However, this is a great chance to get the Tigers at excellent value in their charge to get back into the mix in the AL Standings. It wasn't pretty for a while in Detroit. But, the comeback is on and Framber Valdez will be the key to the Tigers success. In his last appearance, Valdez allowed one run in 5.0 innings. Expect more of the same this evening. Mike Paredes gets his first major league start on Wednesday for the Twins. He's not been great so far in relief, but has gone multiple innings in both of his outings. I believe that the Tigers have the opportunity to jump all over him on Wednesday, especially after they scored 10 runs yesterday. Hammer DET. Burns' Prediction: 5-2 Tigers.

(#911) Chicago Cubs \| ML \| . Shota Imanaga (4-6, 4.74 ERA) vs. Michael Lorenzen (2-8, 8.01 ERA) . I understand that it hasn't been a good start to the season for Shota Imanaga. But, I'm still not buying that he's not good anymore. Last year, Imanaga owned a dominant 0.99 WHIP in 25 starts. Even though his ERA is up significantly this campaign from last year and his MLB rookie year, his WHIP still stands at a very respectable 1.08. Expect him to improve his numbers beginning with this start, even in Colorado on Wednesday. For the Rockies, they'll turn the ball over to Michael Lorenzen, who's been amongst the worst starting pitchers in the league this year. I might just go ahead & say it. He's been the worst in my eyes. Holding an 8.01 ERA even while pitching here in Colorado is quite horrendous. It's even worse here at home though with a 9.67 ERA in six games. Quite shocking considering what we saw from him at times in the WBC. All in all, I believe that playing against Colorado when it's at home is always a good opportunity. Runs will be scored in a game like this and the Rockies have the worst team ERA by a mile out of any team in the majors at 5.60 this season (next worst is Houston at 4.89.) Expect a big game from Imanaga & for the Cubbies to dominate on Wednesday. Burns' Prediction: 9-3 Cubs.

(#921) Texas Rangers @ (#922) Kansas City Royals \| UNDER \| . MacKenzie Gore (3-4, 4.23 ERA) vs. Seth Lugo (2-4, 3.91 ERA) . I know that both of these pitchers have had their struggles at times this season. However, this is a spot where I expect them both to shine. Yes, his latest outing was poor. But, Gore has allowed only eight runs over his past five outings. That's very solid work right there. He's already faced the Royals this season and went 6.1 shutout innings. On the other hand, Seth Lugo returns back at home where he's pitched consecutive QS's He's more than capable and pitched six innings against the Rangers in that same series, while allowing just a single earned run in that start. Give me the "under" in this encounter as the o/u line is simply way too high. Burns' Prediction: 3-1 Rangers.
