The Blazers are 15-6 UNDER on the road vs. teams outrebounded by 3+ per game. While the Pelicans are 10-3 UNDER at home after a 20+ point blowout loss.

Buffalo is one of three teams in the MAC with one loss and a contender to play in the conference championship. The Bulls give up less than 20 PPG, but an investigation of their schedule finds they have taken advantage of a very weak MAC slate. The MAC far and away has the weakest offensive teams in the country, so is Buffalo's defense that good, or a by-product of the environment? Central Mich. and Buffalo have similar offenses, both averaging 26 PPG in the MAC, but in conference, the CMU defense is actually better in points allowed (16.8 vs 21.2) and total defense (295 vs 333 YPGA). The home team has won four of the past five meetings, and all three of my power ratings have the Chippewas winning by 5 to 5.5 points.
